1. Important Safety Instructions

Components:

  • Motor Unit: The main body containing the motor and controls.
  • Speed Selector: A switch with settings from 0 (off) to 6 (highest speed).
  • Turbo Button: Provides an instant burst of maximum power.
  • Accessory Eject Button: Used to release attachments.
  • Whisks (2x): For whipping cream, beating eggs, and mixing light batters.
  • Dough Hooks (2x): For kneading dough for bread, pizza, etc.

3. Setup

  1. Before First Use: Wash the whisks and dough hooks in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
  2. Attaching Accessories:
    • Ensure the hand mixer is unplugged and the speed selector is set to '0'.
    • Insert the desired accessories (whisks or dough hooks) into the two openings on the underside of the mixer. Push firmly until they click into place.
    • For dough hooks, ensure the hook with the collar is inserted into the larger opening.
  3. Removing Accessories:
    • Unplug the hand mixer from the power outlet.
    • Press the accessory eject button (usually located near the speed selector) to release the attachments.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Preparation:
    • Ensure the correct accessories are securely attached.
    • Plug the hand mixer into a suitable power outlet (220-240V).
  2. Speed Selection:
    • Start mixing at a low speed (e.g., 1 or 2) to prevent splashing.
    • Gradually increase the speed using the speed selector switch (1-6) as needed for your recipe.
    • Use lower speeds for folding and mixing dry ingredients, and higher speeds for whipping and beating.
  3. Turbo Function:
    • Press and hold the 'TURBO' button for an immediate burst of maximum power, regardless of the current speed setting.
    • Release the button to return to the previously selected speed.
    • This function is useful for quickly incorporating ingredients or achieving extra aeration.
  4. Mixing Tips:
    • Always use a bowl large enough to prevent ingredients from overflowing.
    • Move the mixer slowly through the ingredients to ensure even mixing.
    • Do not operate the mixer continuously for more than 5 minutes. Allow it to cool down for a few minutes before resuming.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your hand mixer.

  1. Before Cleaning: Always unplug the hand mixer from the power outlet and remove the accessories.
  2. Motor Unit:
    • Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth.
    • Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
