1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Stand Installation

  1. Carefully place the television screen-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Align each stand with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the television.
  3. Secure each stand using the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened firmly.

3.2 Wall Mounting

Your Westinghouse television is VESA compatible for wall mounting. A wall mount is not included and must be purchased separately.

  • VESA Screw Size: M4 (not included)
  • Screw Depth: Minimum 5mm - Maximum 6mm

3.3 Connecting Devices

Before connecting any devices, ensure the television and all devices are powered off.

  • Power: Connect the power cable to the TV's power input and then to a wall outlet.
  • Antenna/Cable: Connect an antenna or cable TV coaxial cable to the 'Antenna/Cable' input.
  • HDMI Devices: Use HDMI cables to connect streaming devices (e.g., Fire Stick, Roku, Apple TV), gaming consoles, or Blu-ray players to the HDMI inputs (x3).
  • VGA/PC: Connect a computer to the 'VGA Input' for use as a monitor. Use the 'PC Audio Input' for audio.
  • USB Devices: Insert USB drives into the 'USB 5V' port for media playback.
  • Composite Audio & Video: Use RCA cables (red, white, yellow) to connect older devices like DVD players or classic gaming consoles.
  • Optical Audio: Connect a soundbar or audio receiver using an optical audio cable for enhanced sound.
  • Headphone Output: Connect headphones for private listening.

4. Operating Your TV

4.1 Basic Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button on the remote control or the TV to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Use the VOL +/- buttons on the remote to adjust the volume level.
  • Channel Selection: Use the CH +/- buttons to change channels or enter channel numbers directly using the numeric keypad.
