4. Operating Instructions
- Prepare Document: Place your document or photo inside a laminating pouch, ensuring it is centered and there is an even border around the edges.

- Lamination Process: The laminator will automatically pull the pouch through. Do not pull or push the pouch during the lamination process.
- Retrieve Laminated Item: Once the pouch exits the machine completely, carefully remove the laminated item. It may be warm, so handle with care.
- Cool Down: Allow the laminated item to cool and set on a flat surface for a few minutes before trimming or handling extensively.
- Clearing Jams: In case of a paper jam, immediately push and hold the jam release lever located on the side of the machine while gently pulling the pouch out of the entry slot. Release the lever once the pouch is clear.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the laminator is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Roller Cleaning: Periodically run a cleaning sheet (available separately) through the laminator to remove any adhesive residue from the rollers.
- Storage: Store the laminator in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
6. Troubleshooting
- Laminator Not Heating Up:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Verify the power switch is in the "On" position and the correct mil setting (3 mil or 5 mil) is selected.
- Allow sufficient time (3-5 minutes) for the machine to warm up until the green "Ready" light illuminates.
- Paper Jam:
- Immediately push and hold the jam release lever.
- Gently pull the jammed pouch out of the entry slot.
- Ensure pouches are fed straight and not at an angle.
- Do not use pouches that are too thick for the selected mil setting.
- Poor Lamination Quality (Bubbles, Wrinkles):
- Ensure the laminator has fully warmed up (green "Ready" light is on).
- Verify the correct mil setting is selected for your pouch thickness.
- Ensure the document is centered properly within the pouch and the pouch is fed straight.
- Avoid using pouches that are too old or damaged.
