2. Setup
2.1 Initial Power-On
Upon first use, connect the AC adapter to the laptop and a power outlet. Press the power button to turn on the device. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial Windows setup.

2.2 Operating System Setup (Windows 11 Home in S mode)
Your laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home in S mode, which offers enhanced security and performance by exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you require to install applications from outside the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S mode. Please note that switching out of S mode is a one-way process and cannot be undone.

2.3 Network Connectivity (Wi-Fi 6)
The Acer Aspire 5 supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) for faster and more efficient wireless connections. During initial setup or at any time, navigate to the network settings to connect to your preferred Wi-Fi network. This ensures reliable access to online applications and services.

3. Operating Your Laptop
3.1 Keyboard and Touchpad
The laptop features a full-size keyboard and a large, responsive touchpad for navigation. The ergonomically designed hinge lifts the keyboard slightly when the lid is open, providing a more comfortable typing experience and improved airflow for cooling.
