4.2 Initial Configuration
- Power On: Once all physical connections are made, apply power to the router. Observe the LED indicators for power and network status.
- Connect to Router:
- Wired: Connect a computer to any of the LAN ports using an Ethernet cable.
- Wireless: Search for the router's default Wi-Fi SSID (Service Set Identifier) on your device and connect. The default SSID and password are typically found on a label on the router.
- Access Web Interface: Open a web browser and enter the router's default IP address (e.g.,
192.168.1.1or as specified on the device label). Enter the default username and password when prompted. - Basic Network Settings:
- WAN Configuration: Configure the WAN settings according to your internet service provider's requirements (e.g., DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE).
- Wi-Fi Settings: Change the default Wi-Fi SSID and password for security. Configure 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands as needed.
- Administrator Password: It is highly recommended to change the default administrator password for the web interface immediately.
5. Operating Instructions
