6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Hawkray camera, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi | Incorrect Wi-Fi band (5GHz), weak signal, wrong password. | Ensure your router is set to 2.4GHz. Move the camera closer to the router. Double-check Wi-Fi password. |
| Solar panel not charging battery | Insufficient sunlight, dirty panel, faulty connection. | Relocate the solar panel to an area with more direct sunlight. Clean the solar panel surface. Ensure the cable is securely connected. |
| Frequent false motion alerts | Sensitivity too high, objects like trees or shadows causing triggers. | Adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app. Define active zones to exclude irrelevant areas. |
| No night vision | Night vision mode disabled or IR sensors blocked. | Check night vision settings in the app. Ensure nothing is obstructing the camera's IR sensors. |
| Two-way audio not working | Microphone/speaker muted in app, poor network connection. | Check audio settings in the app. Ensure stable Wi-Fi connection. |
