Setup

1. Battery Installation/Activation

The clock comes with an AG10 button battery pre-installed. Before first use, ensure any protective tab is removed from the battery compartment if present. If the display is blank, the battery may need to be replaced (refer to Maintenance section).

2. Mounting the Clock

  1. Clean the surface where you intend to mount the clock (e.g., car dashboard, desk). Ensure it is dry and free of dust.
  2. Peel off the protective film from one side of the self-adhesive pad.
  3. Attach the adhesive pad firmly to the back of the clock.
  4. Peel off the protective film from the other side of the adhesive pad.
  5. Press the clock firmly onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds to ensure a secure bond.

Operating Instructions

Setting Time and Date

The N.P Mini Digital Car Clock typically features two small buttons on the side or back for setting the time and date. These are usually labeled "MODE" and "SET" or similar, or function as such.

  1. Enter Setting Mode: Press and hold the MODE button (or the left button) for a few seconds until the hour digits start flashing.
  2. Set Hour: While the hour digits are flashing, press the SET button (or the right button) repeatedly to adjust the hour.
  3. Set Minute: Press the MODE button once to switch to minute setting. The minute digits will flash. Press the SET button repeatedly to adjust the minutes.
  4. Set Month: Press the MODE button once to switch to month setting. The month digits will flash. Press the SET button repeatedly to adjust the month.
  5. Set Day: Press the MODE button once to switch to day setting. The day digits will flash. Press the SET button repeatedly to adjust the day.
  6. Exit Setting Mode: Press the MODE button again to cycle through any remaining settings (e.g., year, 12/24-hour format if available) or wait a few seconds for the clock to automatically exit setting mode.

Note: Button functions may vary slightly. If the above sequence does not work, try short presses and long presses of each button to identify their specific functions.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The clock is powered by one AG10 button battery. When the display becomes dim or stops working, it's time to replace the battery.

  1. Carefully remove the clock from its mounted position if necessary.
  2. Locate the battery compartment on the back or side of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
  3. Use a small screwdriver or a similar tool to open the battery compartment cover.
  4. Remove the old AG10 battery.
  5. Insert a new AG10 button battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
  6. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  7. Reset the time and date as described in the "Operating Instructions" section.

Cleaning

To clean the clock, gently wipe the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the display or finish.

Troubleshooting

  • Display is blank or dim:
    • Check if the battery protective tab has been removed.
    • Replace the AG10 battery with a new one.
  • Time is incorrect:
    • Reset the time and date following the "Operating Instructions" section.
    • Ensure the battery is not low, as this can affect timekeeping accuracy.
  • Clock does not stick to surface:
    • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and smooth.
    • Apply firm pressure for an extended period when mounting.
    • Consider using a stronger adhesive if the issue persists.
