4. Setup Instructions
4.1. Assembly
The Hot Wheels City Mega Car Wash Tower is designed for easy assembly and can be configured in two primary modes: Tower Mode and Race Mode.
- Unpack all components from the box.
- Tower Mode (Tall Configuration): Connect the main vertical support beams and spiral ramps to form a tall tower. Ensure all connection points click securely into place. This mode allows cars to spiral down from a significant height.
- Race Mode (Side-by-Side Configuration): The tower can be separated into two distinct race tracks. To convert, locate the release mechanism on the central support column and carefully separate the two halves. This allows for side-by-side racing.

4.2. Water Preparation
The color-change feature requires both hot and ice-cold water. Use caution when handling hot water.
- Fill the blue water tank (located on the left side of the car wash) with ice-cold water.
- Fill the red water tank (located on the right side of the car wash) with warm water. Ensure the water is warm enough to activate color change but not too hot for safe handling.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Car Movement and Racing
- Spiral Ramp: Place a Hot Wheels car at the top of the spiral ramp. The car will naturally descend, navigating the curves of the track.
- Elevator: Use the manual elevator mechanism to lift cars to different levels of the tower.
- Launcher: In Race Mode, place cars side-by-side at the starting line. Press the launch button to send them racing down their respective tracks. The finish line flag will indicate the winner.

5.2. Color Change Feature
The included Hot Wheels Color Shifters car changes color when exposed to different water temperatures.
- Cold Water Activation: Drive the Color Shifters car into the blue water spray area. Squeeze the blue pump to spray ice-cold water onto the car. Observe the car's color change.
- Warm Water Activation: Move the car to the red water spray area. Squeeze the red pump to spray warm water onto the car. The car will change back to its original color.
- Foam Roller: After the car wash, the car can pass through the foam roller for a final touch.

6. Maintenance
- Water Disposal: After play, ensure all water is drained from the tanks and the collection tray at the bottom of the playset. The collection tray is removable for easy emptying.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the playset with a damp cloth to remove any residue. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the playset in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. The playset can be folded back into its compact tower mode for easier storage.
7. Troubleshooting
- Cars not changing color: Ensure the water temperatures are sufficiently different (one ice-cold, one warm). Extreme temperatures are not required, but a noticeable difference is key for the color-change effect.
- Cars getting stuck on ramps: Check for any obstructions on the track. Ensure the playset is assembled correctly and placed on a flat, stable surface.
- Water leakage: Verify that the water tanks are securely attached and not overfilled. Ensure the collection tray is properly seated at the base of the playset.
