4. Setup

4.1 Assembly

The Ewbank FP90 comes partially assembled. Simply connect the handle to the main body of the unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place.

4.2 Charging the Battery

1. Locate the charging port on the unit.
2. Connect the charger to the unit and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
3. The battery indicator lights will illuminate to show charging status.
4. Allow 4-6 hours for a full charge. A full charge provides approximately 30 minutes of run time.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Attaching Cleaning/Polishing Pads

The FP90 uses interchangeable pads for different tasks. Ensure the unit is off before attaching or removing pads.

• White Scouring Pads: Designed for removing stubborn dirt and grime.

To attach, align the pads with the hook-and-loop fasteners on the bottom of the polisher heads and press firmly.

5.2 Filling the Water Tank

1. Locate the water tank cap on the top of the polisher base.
2. Open the cap and use the provided measuring jug to fill the tank with clean water or a suitable floor cleaning solution (refer to your floor manufacturer's guidelines for compatible solutions). Do not overfill.
3. Securely close the cap.

5.3 Operation

1. Ensure the correct pads are attached and the water tank is filled if needed.
2. Press the power button on the handle to turn the unit on. The dust tracking lights will illuminate.
3. Gently guide the polisher across the floor. The rotating pads will clean or polish the surface.
4. To spray water or cleaning solution, press the spray button on the handle.
5. Move the unit steadily, overlapping passes to ensure even coverage.
6. When finished, press the power button to turn the unit off.
