2. Setup Guide
2.1 Battery Installation
The Aegis Solo 2 / S100 Kit requires a single 18650 battery for operation. Please note that the battery is NOT included in the package and must be purchased separately.
- Unscrew the battery cap located at the bottom of the device by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert a fully charged 18650 battery into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly as indicated inside the compartment.
- Screw the battery cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.
2.2 Tank Assembly and Coil Installation
The kit includes the Z Sub-Ohm 2021 Tank. Follow these steps to assemble and prepare the tank:
- Unscrew the base of the tank from the main body.
- Insert a compatible Z Series coil into the tank from the bottom, ensuring it is firmly seated.
- Screw the base back onto the tank body.
- Screw the assembled tank onto the 510 connector of the Aegis Solo 2 mod until snug.

2.3 E-liquid Filling
To fill the Z Sub-Ohm 2021 Tank:
- Locate the top cap of the tank.
- Push the top cap to slide it open, revealing the filling port.
- Insert the nozzle of your e-liquid bottle into the filling port and gently squeeze to fill the tank. Avoid filling into the central airflow tube.
- Once filled, slide the top cap back into place until it clicks shut.
- After filling a new coil, allow the e-liquid to soak into the coil for at least 5-10 minutes before first use to prevent dry hits.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
To turn the device on or off, rapidly press the fire button 5 times within 2 seconds.
3.2 Adjusting Wattage
Use the '+' and '-' adjustment buttons located below the screen to increase or decrease the wattage output. The wattage range is typically 5W to 100W.
3.3 Screen Display Information
The 1.08" full screen display provides essential information about your device's status:
- Battery Level: Indicated by an icon and percentage.
- Wattage: Current power output.
- Coil Resistance (Ω): Resistance of the installed coil.
- Voltage (V): Output voltage.
- Puff Counter: Tracks the number of puffs taken.

3.4 Locking/Unlocking the Device
The Aegis Solo 2 features a convenient A-Lock switch on the side of the device. Slide the switch up to lock the device and prevent accidental firing or wattage adjustments. Slide it down to unlock.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Regularly clean the 510 connector on the mod and the base of the tank with a dry cloth or cotton swab to ensure good conductivity.
- For the tank, disassemble it and rinse the glass and metal parts (excluding the coil) with warm water. Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembly.
4.2 Coil Replacement
Coils are consumable parts and need to be replaced regularly, typically every 1-2 weeks depending on usage and e-liquid. Replace the coil when you notice a burnt taste, reduced vapor production, or diminished flavor.
- Ensure the tank is empty of e-liquid.
- Unscrew the tank from the mod.
- Unscrew the base of the tank.
- Pull out the old coil from the tank.
- Insert a new Z Series coil firmly into place.
- Reassemble the tank and fill with e-liquid, allowing time for the new coil to prime.
4.3 General Care
- Keep the device away from extreme temperatures (hot or cold) and direct sunlight.
- Store the device in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid dropping the device, despite its shock resistance, to prevent internal damage.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Device Not Turning On
- Ensure the 18650 battery is correctly inserted with the correct polarity.
- Check if the battery is charged. If not, charge it using an external battery charger.
- Press the fire button 5 times rapidly to power on the device.
5.2 No Vapor or Weak Vapor
- Check the e-liquid level in the tank.
- Ensure the coil is properly installed and not burnt out. Replace if necessary.
- Adjust the wattage to a suitable level for your coil's resistance.
- Ensure the device is not locked (check A-Lock switch).
5.3 Leaking Tank
- Ensure all tank components are securely tightened, especially the coil and base.
- Check the O-rings for damage or displacement. Replace if needed.
- Avoid overfilling the tank.
- Ensure the top cap is fully closed after filling.
5.4 Screen Not Displaying
- Ensure the device is powered on.
- Check battery charge.
- If the issue persists, try removing and reinserting the battery.
