4.1 Drone Components

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Charge Drone Battery: Connect the drone battery to the USB charging cable and plug it into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The indicator light on the cable will show charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.
  2. Install Drone Battery: Insert the fully charged battery into the drone's battery compartment until it clicks into place.
  3. Install Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control and insert 3x AAA batteries (not included), observing polarity. Close the cover.

5.2 Propeller Installation (if necessary)

  2. Power On Drone: Place the drone on a flat, level surface and turn on its power switch. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
  3. Connect to Wi-Fi: On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the Wi-Fi network named '3T6B-XXXXXX' (or similar).
  4. Open App: Launch the downloaded app. You should see the live video feed from the drone's camera.

5.4 Calibration

Before each flight, calibrate the drone for stable performance:

  1. Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
  2. Turn on the drone, then the remote control.
  3. Push the left joystick (throttle) all the way up, then all the way down. The drone lights will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
  4. To calibrate the gyroscope, push both joysticks down and to the right simultaneously. The drone lights will flash rapidly and then become solid, indicating calibration is complete.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Flight Controls

  1. Take-off: Press the 'One Press Take Off/Landing' button, or push both joysticks outwards and upwards to start the motors, then push the left joystick up to ascend.
  2. Landing: Press the 'One Press Take Off/Landing' button again, or slowly pull the left joystick down to descend.
  3. Altitude Control: Use the left joystick (throttle) up/down to control the drone's height.
  4. Directional Control: Use the right joystick to move the drone forward, backward, left, or right.
  5. Rotation: Use the left joystick left/right to rotate the drone on its axis.

6.2 Special Features

  • 3D Flip: Press the 3D Flip button (refer to remote control diagram), then push the right joystick in any direction to perform a 360-degree flip. Ensure sufficient altitude and clear surroundings.

  • Q: The drone drifts in one direction during flight.

  • Q: Drone loses control or flies away.
