4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your YEHUA R15Y Wireless HDMI system:

4.1 Connecting the Transmitter (TX)

  1. Attach Antennas: Screw the two antennas firmly onto the TX unit's antenna ports.
  2. Connect to Source Device: Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port of your source device (e.g., laptop, PC, set-top box, game console) to the HDMI IN port on the TX unit.
  3. (Optional) HDMI Loopout: If you wish to connect a local display, use another HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT (Loopout) port on the TX unit to the HDMI IN port of your local monitor or TV.
  4. (Optional) IR Blaster: Connect the IR Blaster cable to the IR OUT port on the TX unit. Position the IR Blaster head near the IR sensor of your source device.
  5. Connect Power: Plug one power adapter into the DC 5V port on the TX unit and then into a power outlet. The TX unit will power on automatically.

4.2 Connecting the Receiver (RX)

  1. Attach Antennas: Screw the two antennas firmly onto the RX unit's antenna ports.
  2. Connect to Display Device: Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the RX unit to the HDMI IN port of your display device (e.g., TV, projector, monitor).
  3. (Optional) IR Receiver: Connect the IR Receiver cable to the IR IN port on the RX unit. Position the IR Receiver head in a location where it can receive signals from your remote control.
  4. Connect Power: Plug the second power adapter into the DC 5V port on the RX unit and then into a power outlet. The RX unit will power on automatically.

4.3 Initial Connection

After connecting both TX and RX units to power, wait approximately 5 seconds for them to establish a wireless connection. The indicator lights on both units will confirm a successful connection.

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your YEHUA R15Y Wireless HDMI system, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the units. Avoid using liquid or aerosol cleaners, as they may damage the casing or internal components.
  • Environment: Operate the device in a well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing the units to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, high humidity, or dusty environments.
  • Power: Use only the provided power adapters. Disconnect power during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  • Handling: Handle the units with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting them to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your YEHUA R15Y system, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. No Signal on Display:
    • Ensure both TX and RX units are powered on and their indicator lights are active.
    • Verify all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the source and display devices, and to the TX/RX units.
    • Check that the display is set to the correct HDMI input source.
    • Try connecting the source device directly to the display with an HDMI cable to confirm the source and display are working correctly.
    • Reduce the distance between the TX and RX units and ensure there are no major obstructions (e.g., thick walls, metal objects) that could interfere with the wireless signal.
  2. Poor Video Quality or Intermittent Signal:
    • Ensure antennas are securely attached and oriented for optimal signal reception.
    • Minimize wireless interference from other 5GHz/2.4GHz devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones).
    • Check the resolution settings of your source device. While the system supports 1080P, some older displays might require lower resolutions.
    • Ensure the power adapters are providing stable power to both units.
  3. IR Remote Control Not Working:
    • Ensure the IR Blaster cable is securely connected to the TX unit and its head is positioned directly in front of the source device's IR sensor.
    • Ensure the IR Receiver cable is securely connected to the RX unit and is positioned to receive signals from your remote control.
    • Check the batteries in your remote control.
  4. Audio Issues:
    • Verify that the audio settings on your source device and display are correctly configured.
    • Ensure the HDMI cables are fully inserted, as loose connections can affect audio transmission.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact YEHUA customer support for further assistance.
