4. Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions when working with vehicle batteries and electrical systems:

  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and gloves.
  • Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the parking brake is engaged.
  • Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal first to prevent accidental short circuits.

  3. Install Anti-Corrosion Washers: Place the red anti-corrosion washer on the positive (+) battery post and the green washer on the negative (-) battery post.
  4. Connect Wires to Terminals: Loosen the hex screws on the 4 ports of each terminal connector using the provided hex wrench. Insert the stripped ends of your battery cables (main battery cables and accessory cables) into the appropriate ports. Ensure a snug fit and tighten the hex screws securely.
  5. Attach Terminals to Battery Posts:
    • First, attach the positive (+) terminal connector (red lever) to the positive (+) battery post. Push down the quick-release lever to secure it.
    • Next, attach the negative (-) terminal connector (black lever) to the negative (-) battery post. Push down the quick-release lever to secure it.

    Important: Ensure correct polarity. The red lever connector is for the positive post, and the black lever connector is for the negative post.

  6. Verify Connections: Gently tug on all connected cables and the terminal connectors to ensure they are firmly attached and there is no movement.
