4. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions when working with vehicle batteries and electrical systems:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and gloves.
- Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the parking brake is engaged.
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal first to prevent accidental short circuits.
- Connect the negative (-) battery terminal last when reassembling.
- Avoid touching battery acid. If contact occurs, flush with water immediately and seek medical attention.
- Do not smoke or use open flames near batteries, as they can produce flammable gases.
- Ensure correct polarity when connecting terminals (Red for Positive +, Black for Negative -).
5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of the battery terminal connectors:
- Prepare the Battery: Ensure the vehicle is off. Disconnect existing battery terminals, starting with the negative (-) terminal first.
- Clean Battery Posts: Use the included battery terminal cleaner to thoroughly clean the positive and negative battery posts. This removes corrosion and ensures optimal electrical contact.

- Install Anti-Corrosion Washers: Place the red anti-corrosion washer on the positive (+) battery post and the green washer on the negative (-) battery post.
- Connect Wires to Terminals: Loosen the hex screws on the 4 ports of each terminal connector using the provided hex wrench. Insert the stripped ends of your battery cables (main battery cables and accessory cables) into the appropriate ports. Ensure a snug fit and tighten the hex screws securely.
- Attach Terminals to Battery Posts:
- First, attach the positive (+) terminal connector (red lever) to the positive (+) battery post. Push down the quick-release lever to secure it.
- Next, attach the negative (-) terminal connector (black lever) to the negative (-) battery post. Push down the quick-release lever to secure it.
Important: Ensure correct polarity. The red lever connector is for the positive post, and the black lever connector is for the negative post.

- Verify Connections: Gently tug on all connected cables and the terminal connectors to ensure they are firmly attached and there is no movement.
6. Operation
Once installed, the SINGARO 4-Way Car Battery Terminal Connectors function as direct replacements for standard battery terminals, providing multiple connection points for various automotive electrical components. The quick-release levers allow for easy disconnection of the battery when needed for maintenance or storage.
- To disconnect: Lift the quick-release lever on the desired terminal.
- To reconnect: Place the terminal onto the battery post and push the quick-release lever down until it locks securely.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your battery terminal connectors:
- Inspect Regularly: Periodically check the terminals for signs of corrosion, loose connections, or damage.
- Clean Terminals: If corrosion appears, disconnect the battery (negative first) and use the battery terminal cleaner or a wire brush to remove any accumulated oxide layer. Reapply anti-corrosion grease if available.
- Tighten Connections: Ensure all hex screws securing the cables are tight to maintain good electrical conductivity.
- Check Polarity: Always ensure the red terminal is on the positive post and the black terminal is on the negative post.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Poor electrical connection / Vehicle not starting | Loose terminal connection, corrosion on posts/terminals, incorrect polarity. |
|
| Corrosion buildup | Exposure to moisture and battery gases. |
|
| Difficulty attaching/detaching terminals | Battery post size mismatch, debris on posts, stiff quick-release mechanism. |
