Before First Use
Before using your Elite Gourmet Slow Cooker for the first time, please follow these steps:
- Remove all packaging materials, labels, and tags from the appliance.
- Wash the removable stoneware pot and glass lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the exterior of the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water or any other liquid.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly and use.
Setup
Setting up your slow cooker is quick and easy:
- Place the heating base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets.
- Carefully place the clean stoneware pot into the heating base.
- Add your ingredients to the stoneware pot. Do not overfill; leave at least 1 inch of space from the rim.
- Place the glass lid securely on top of the stoneware pot.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
The Elite Gourmet Slow Cooker offers three simple temperature settings:
- OFF: Turns the slow cooker off.
- LOW: For slow cooking over an extended period. Ideal for tenderizing meats and blending flavors.
- HIGH: For faster cooking. Use when you need to cook a dish in a shorter amount of time.
- WARM: Maintains the temperature of cooked food. Do not use this setting for cooking raw food.
To operate:

Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your slow cooker.
