Important Safety Instructions

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX line. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Boiling Water

1. Fill Kettle: Open the lid and fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark (1.7 liters).
2. Close Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed.
3. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the 360° swivel power base.
4. Start Boiling: Press the ON/OFF switch located on the handle downwards. The LED indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
5. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil, and the LED light will extinguish.
6. Pour: Carefully lift the kettle from the base and pour the hot water.

Preparing Infusions (Tea, Tisanes, etc.)

1. Insert Infuser: Ensure the removable stainless steel infuser is properly placed inside the kettle.
2. Add Ingredients: Place your desired tea leaves, herbs, or other infusion ingredients into the infuser.
3. Fill Kettle: Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water up to the desired level, ensuring it covers the infuser contents. Do not exceed the MAX line.
4. Close Lid: Securely close the lid.
5. Place on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the 360° swivel power base.
6. Start Heating: Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The LED indicator light will illuminate.
7. Automatic Shut-off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water has reached a rolling boil.
8. Steep: Allow the infusion to steep for the recommended time according to your recipe or preference.
9. Remove Infuser & Pour: Carefully remove the infuser (use caution as it will be hot) and then pour your prepared infusion.

Maintenance

Cleaning

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the power base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
3. Interior: The interior of the kettle can be rinsed with water. For stubborn stains, use a soft brush or sponge. Do not immerse the kettle base in water.
4. Infuser: The removable infuser can be washed with warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly.
5. Drying: Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or next use.

Descaling

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descale your kettle regularly to maintain performance.

1. Vinegar Method: Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water. Let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or boil the mixture. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
2. Citric Acid Method: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of citric acid in 1 liter of water. Pour into the kettle and boil. Discard the solution and rinse thoroughly.
3. Commercial Descaler: Follow the instructions provided with a commercial descaling product suitable for electric kettles.

Note: Ensure all descaling solution is completely rinsed out before using the kettle for beverages.
