Setup
Unboxing and Components
Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging. Ensure all components are present:
- Avallon AIMG151GSSILH Ice Maker Unit
- Ice Scoop
- Water Inlet Pipe (1/4" size)
- Drain Hose
- Door Handle and Fixed Screws
Placement and Dimensions
The Avallon AIMG151GSSILH can be installed as a built-in unit or as a free-standing appliance. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially for built-in installations, as the unit features front heat dissipation. The dimensions are: Depth: 23-1/4"; Width: 14-15/16"; Height: 33-3/4".

Door Handle Installation
To install the door handle:
- Remove the door handle and fixed screws from the packaging.
- Unscrew the secret screw at the bottom of the door handle with the hex wrench to a certain extent to prevent it from not fitting during installation.
- Peel off the protective film on the door surface to reveal the screw holes at the top.
- Align the fixed screws of the door handle vertically with the holes on the door.
- Tighten them with a crosshead screwdriver.
- Align the door handle with the fixed screws, push it in, and ensure it is fully seated.
- Tighten the bottom security screws.
- After securing, pull the door handle to ensure it does not become loose.

Water Inlet Pipe Installation
Connect the 1/4" water inlet pipe to the ice maker:
- Remove the clip from the water intake port at the back of the ice maker.
- Align the water pipe with the inlet and push it firmly into place.
- Reattach the clip that was removed earlier to secure the pipe.
- Gently pull the water pipe outward to ensure it is securely fixed.
- To replace or remove the water inlet pipe, first remove the buckle, then push the water inlet pipe inward to remove and replace it.
Drain Hose Installation
Proper drain hose installation is crucial for efficient water discharge:
- Remove the waterproof plug from the drain port at the back of the ice maker.
- Align the larger end of the drain hose with the drain port and push it in firmly.
- Ensure the entire drain pipe is positioned lower than the water outlet on the ice maker, as the unit relies on gravity drainage. If the drain hose is too high, water cannot drain smoothly.

Electrical Connection
Connect the ice maker to a standard 120 Volt electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and meets local electrical codes.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel

- ICE MAKING: Indicates when the unit is actively producing ice.
