Important Safeguards

• The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.

Before First Use

2. Wipe the non-stick griddle plate with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not immerse the unit in water.
3. Dry thoroughly.
4. For optimal non-stick performance, it is recommended to lightly season the griddle plate by wiping a small amount of cooking oil over the surface with a paper towel before the first use.

Setup

Place the Crepe Maker on a stable, heat-resistant, and flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

1. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. The Power Indicator Light will illuminate.
2. Turn the Adjustable Temperature Control Dial to your desired setting. The Ready Indicator Light will turn on when the griddle reaches the set temperature and will cycle on and off during cooking to maintain the temperature.
3. Allow the unit to preheat for approximately 5-7 minutes before adding food.

Making Crepes

1. Prepare your crepe batter according to your recipe.
2. Once the Crepe Maker is preheated (Ready light is on), pour a small amount of batter (approximately 1/4 cup) onto the center of the griddle.
3. Immediately use the included batter spreader to spread the batter evenly in a circular motion, starting from the center and moving outwards, to form a thin, round crepe.
4. Cook for 30-60 seconds, or until the edges begin to brown and the surface appears set.
5. Use the included spatula to gently lift and flip the crepe. Cook for another 15-30 seconds on the second side.
6. Remove the cooked crepe and place it on a plate. Repeat with remaining batter.

Versatile Cooking Options

The 12-inch non-stick griddle is also suitable for cooking a variety of other breakfast and meal items:

• Pancakes: Pour small amounts of pancake batter directly onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook the other side.
• Eggs: Crack eggs directly onto the preheated griddle for fried eggs. For scrambled eggs, whisk eggs in a bowl and pour onto the griddle, stirring gently as they cook.
• Bacon: Lay bacon strips directly on the griddle. Cook to desired crispness, flipping as needed.
• Quesadillas: Place a tortilla on the griddle, add cheese and other fillings to one half, fold the other half over, and cook until cheese is melted and tortilla is golden brown.
• Blintzes: Cook thin blintz wrappers, then fill and fold as desired.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and performance of your Crepe Maker.

1. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the non-stick griddle plate with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
