    • Magnetic Mounting: Use the magnetic pivoting base to attach the laser level to metal surfaces. The base allows for 360° rotation.

5. Operating Modes

The Huepar B03TP offers three primary operating modes:

5.1. Self-Leveling Mode

This mode is ideal for applications requiring precise horizontal and vertical alignment. To activate:

  1. Unlock the pendulum by sliding the pendulum lock switch to the 'ON' position.
  2. The laser level will automatically self-level within a ±4° range.
  3. If the tool is beyond its self-leveling range, the laser beam will blink continuously at 2Hz to indicate an out-of-level condition. Adjust the position of the laser level until the lines become steady.

5.2. Manual/Tilt Mode

For projecting lines at specific angles, such as installing handrails or decorative elements:

  1. Lock the pendulum by sliding the pendulum lock switch to the 'OFF' position.
  2. The laser lines can now be projected at any desired angle.
  3. In manual mode, the laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind the user that it is not self-leveling.

5.3. Pulse Mode

To extend the working range of the laser level, especially in bright outdoor conditions:

  1. Activate the pulse mode by pressing the dedicated Pulse Mode Button.
  2. This mode allows the laser level to be used with a Huepar Line Laser Detector (receiver) to extend the working range up to 200 feet.

11. Troubleshooting

  • Laser Lines Not Visible:
    • Ensure the device is powered on and the battery is charged.
    • Check ambient light conditions; bright light can reduce visibility. Use pulse mode with a receiver for outdoor or very bright conditions.
    • Verify that the pendulum lock switch is in the correct position for the desired mode (unlocked for self-leveling, locked for manual).
  • Laser Lines Blinking Continuously:
    • In self-leveling mode, continuous blinking indicates the device is out of its ±4° leveling range. Reposition the laser level on a flatter surface or adjust the tripod.
    • In manual mode, blinking every 3-5 seconds is normal and serves as a reminder that the device is not self-leveling.
  • Device Not Turning On:
    • Ensure the battery is properly installed and charged.
    • Connect the device to a power source using the Type-C cable to check if it powers on directly.
    • Verify the pendulum lock switch is in the 'ON' position to activate the laser.
