Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the internal battery using the included AC cord. Connect the micro-USB end of the cable to the radio's charging port and the USB-A end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or computer USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate.

Battery Installation (Optional)

The radio can also operate on 3x AA batteries (not included) as an alternative power source. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity. This provides an additional layer of power redundancy.

In Weather Band (WB) mode, the radio can be set to alert mode. When activated, the radio will remain silent until an extreme weather alert is broadcast, at which point it will automatically sound an alarm and play the alert.
