4. Setup and Installation Notes

Important: Installation instructions and specialized tools are not included with this product. Professional installation is recommended due to the delicate nature of electronic components and the complexity of disassembling vehicle dashboards.

This product is a replacement touch screen digitizer panel only. It does not include the LCD display or the entire head unit. Ensure you have the necessary skills and tools before attempting installation.

Pre-Installation Steps:

  1. Verify Compatibility: Double-check that this 7.0-inch digitizer matches your vehicle's radio display model and part numbers.
  2. Power Off: Ensure the vehicle's power is completely off and the battery is disconnected before beginning any work.
  3. Handle with Care: The digitizer is a fragile glass component. Handle it carefully to prevent damage.
  4. Clean Ribbon Cable Interface: Before connecting the new screen, ensure the ribbon cable interface on both the digitizer and the main unit is clean and free of debris to ensure good contact.

Post-Installation Steps:

  1. Remove Protective Films: After installation, carefully remove any protective films from the screen surface.

5. Operation
