3. Safety Information

To avoid the possibility of the appliance plug or receptacle getting wet, position the aquarium to one side of a wall-mounted receptacle to prevent water from dripping onto the receptacle or plug. A "drip loop" should be arranged for each cord connecting an aquarium appliance to a receptacle.

5. Operation Instructions

The SOBO WP-3000F filter is designed for continuous operation to maintain optimal water quality. Once installed and plugged in, the filter will begin to circulate and clean the aquarium water.

Ensure the filter is always fully submerged when operating.
Monitor the water flow from the outlet. A reduced flow may indicate a need for cleaning.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular maintenance is crucial for the efficient operation and longevity of your filter. Perform cleaning every 2-4 weeks, or more frequently if water flow decreases significantly.

Disconnect Power: Always unplug the filter from the electrical outlet before performing any maintenance.
Remove from Aquarium: Carefully detach the filter from the aquarium wall and remove it from the water.
Disassemble Filter: Gently separate the filter components, including the motor head, filter bin, and media.
Clean Filter Media: Rinse the biochemical sponge and other filter media in old aquarium water (from a water change) or dechlorinated tap water. Avoid using untreated tap water as it can kill beneficial bacteria. Replace media if it is heavily clogged or deteriorated.
