6. Installation Guide

This section outlines the general steps for installing your GIMILI touchless kitchen faucet. Refer to the included detailed installation manual for specific diagrams and step-by-step instructions.

6.1. Before You Begin

6.2. Installation Steps

  1. Prepare the Sink Hole: If installing on a three-hole sink, use the included deck plate. For a single-hole sink, the deck plate is optional.
  2. Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body into the sink hole. Secure it from underneath the sink using the provided mounting hardware.
  3. Connect Water Lines: Attach the hot and cold water supply lines from the faucet to your home's water supply valves. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  4. Install the Sprayer Hose and Weight: Connect the pull-down sprayer hose to the quick-connect fitting on the faucet. Attach the gravity ball weight to the hose at the specified location to ensure smooth retraction.
  5. Connect the AC Adapter: Plug the AC adapter into the control box of the faucet. Then, plug the AC adapter into a dedicated electrical outlet. Important: Do not share an outlet with a garbage disposal.
  6. Test the Faucet: Turn on the main water supply. Check for leaks. Test the manual handle and the touchless sensor functionality.

To activate the touchless feature, simply wave your hand within 3 inches of the sensor located on the faucet body. The water will turn on instantly. Wave your hand again to turn the water off. The faucet will automatically shut off after 3 minutes of continuous flow to prevent accidental water waste.
