Setup
Before first use, unpack all components and ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
Attaching Accessories
The hair dryer comes with magnetic attachments for easy connection.
- Concentrator Nozzle: For precise styling and smoothing. Align the concentrator nozzle with the magnetic ring at the front of the dryer and it will snap into place.
- Diffuser: For enhancing natural curls and waves. Align the diffuser with the magnetic ring and attach it securely.

Powering On/Off
Plug the dryer into a standard 125V electrical outlet. Use the power button to turn the appliance on or off.
Heat and Speed Settings

Memory Function

Auto Clean Function
The IG INGLAM hair dryer is equipped with a self-cleaning function to remove dust and debris from inside the appliance.
- Ensure the dryer is powered off and unplugged.
- Press and hold the Cool Air button.
- While holding the Cool Air button, plug the dryer back into the power outlet.
- Wait for approximately 6 seconds. The hair dryer will initiate a reverse airflow to clean out internal dust and dirt.

General Cleaning
- Always unplug the dryer before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly check the air inlet filter at the back of the dryer for lint and hair buildup. Clean it as needed to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your IG INGLAM hair dryer, refer to the following common problems and solutions.
- Dryer not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 125V outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- No airflow or weak airflow: Check the air inlet filter at the back of the dryer for blockages (lint, hair). Clean the filter using the auto-clean function or manually.
- Dryer overheating and shutting off: This is a safety feature. Unplug the dryer and allow it to cool down for at least 10-15 minutes. Check and clean the air inlet filter. Ensure air outlets are not blocked during use.
- Unusual noise: Ensure no foreign objects are lodged in the air inlet or outlet. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
