Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your digital picture frame, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen-safe cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Placement: Place the frame on a stable surface or mount it securely on a wall. Avoid direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
- Power: Always use the original power adapter. Disconnect power during electrical storms or if the device will be unused for extended periods.
Troubleshooting
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: If the frame loses Wi-Fi connection or displays an error when trying to add new pictures, even if it shows as connected, a simple restart of the frame often resolves the issue.
- Internal Storage Appears Full: If you notice a significant reduction in available storage space, or if the "system" file size increases unexpectedly, restarting the frame multiple times may help reduce its size. Consider disabling automatic updates in the settings if this issue persists.
- Cannot Import Videos from SD Card: The frame does not support importing videos directly from a micro SD card. Videos must be uploaded via the Uhale app and should be in MP4 format.
- Email Photo Upload Not Supported: The frame does not support uploading photos via email. Use the Uhale app or a micro SD card for photo transfers.
- Frame Not Turning On: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the frame and a working power outlet. The frame requires constant power as it does not have a built-in battery.
