The Bluehive BlueBuds consist of two independent earbuds and a portable charging case. The earbuds feature smart click button controls for various functions and a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. The charging case provides additional battery life and protects the earbuds when not in use. It has LED indicators to show charging status.

Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earbuds and the charging case.

• Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
• The charge light indicators on the case will illuminate to show charging progress. Once fully charged, the lights will remain solid or turn off depending on the model.
• Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated; magnetic charging will hold them in place. The earbuds will begin charging automatically.
• A full charge provides approximately 4 hours of wireless runtime for the earbuds, with the case providing an additional 2.5 charges, totaling up to 14 hours of listening time.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The BlueBuds offer a one-tap setup for easy pairing.

• Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
• On your smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android), go to the Bluetooth settings.
• Search for available devices and select "BlueBuds" from the list.
• Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm successful pairing.
• The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, if Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

3. Using a Single Earbud

Each earbud can be used independently. Simply remove one earbud from the charging case, and it will automatically connect to your device if already paired. The other earbud can remain in the case or be used by another person.

Operating Instructions

Smart Click Button Controls

The BlueBuds feature intuitive smart click button controls on each earbud. The specific functions may vary slightly between left and right earbuds or depend on the number of clicks.

Hands-Free Calling

With the built-in microphone, you can make and receive calls directly through your BlueBuds.

• Answer Call: Single click either earbud.
• End Call: Single click either earbud during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press either earbud for 2 seconds.

Water Resistance (IPX5)

The BlueBuds earbuds are rated IPX5 waterproof, meaning they can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. Note: The charging case is not waterproof. Do not expose the charging case to water.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquids or aerosol cleaners.

• Earbuds not pairing with device:

  • Forget "BlueBuds" in your device's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • Place earbuds back in the case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open to re-enter pairing mode.
• Only one earbud working:
  • Ensure both earbuds are charged.
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, then open it again. This often resets their connection.
  • Try re-pairing the earbuds with your device.
• No sound or low volume:
  • Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds.
  • Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
  • Clean any debris from the earbud speaker mesh.
• Charging case not charging:
  • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
