Setup

1. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level workbench. The heavy cast iron base and rubber feet are designed to minimize vibration. For enhanced stability, especially during intensive use, secure the machine to your workbench using the two mounting holes provided on the base.
2. Attaching Polishing Wheels:
   Attach the desired polishing wheel (cloth, grinding, or fiber) to the tapered spindles on either side of the motor. Ensure the wheel is securely fastened.
3. Installing Flexible Shaft:
   To use the flexible shaft, attach it to one of the motor's spindles. Then, connect the drill chuck or other grinding wheels with shank to the flexible shaft. This allows for detailed work like engraving, drilling, derusting, or sharpening.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Plug the machine into a 110V power outlet. Flip the red power switch to the 'ON' position.
2. Adjust Speed: Use the speed control knob to adjust the RPM from 1750 to 10000. Start with a lower speed for delicate items and gradually increase for harder materials or more aggressive polishing. The motor starts instantly.
3. Apply Polishing Compound: For best results, apply a suitable polishing compound to the rotating wheel before bringing the workpiece into contact.
4. Polishing Technique: Gently bring the workpiece into contact with the rotating wheel. Apply even, light pressure and move the item consistently to achieve a uniform finish. Avoid excessive pressure, which can cause overheating or damage to the workpiece or machine.
5. Using Different Wheels:
   
   • Cloth Wheel: Ideal for final polishing and buffing of jewelry, plastics, and softer metals.
   • Fiber Wheel: Suitable for general polishing, removing light scratches, and preparing surfaces.
   • Grinding Wheel: Used for more aggressive material removal, shaping, or sharpening.

Maintenance
