Mounting the Unit

  1. Insert the mounting sleeve into the dashboard opening.
  2. Bend the tabs of the mounting sleeve outwards to secure it.
  3. Connect the wiring harness and antenna cable to the unit.
  4. Slide the unit into the mounting sleeve until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operations

  • Power On/Off: Press the /MODE button to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Rotate the VOL/SEL knob to adjust the volume level.
  • Mode Selection: Press the /MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes (Radio, DVD, USB, SD, Bluetooth, AUX).

Radio Operation

  1. Select FM or AM mode using the /MODE button.
  2. Press ▲/BAND to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2 bands.
  3. Use the K (seek down) and >| (seek up) buttons to tune to the next/previous station.
  4. Auto Store (AS): Press and hold the AS button to automatically scan and store strong stations.
  5. Preset Stations: Press buttons 1-6 to select a stored preset station.

DVD/USB/SD Playback

  1. Insert a DVD disc into the disc slot or a USB drive/SD card into the respective port.
  2. The unit will automatically switch to the corresponding mode. If not, select it manually using the /MODE button.
  3. Use the K (previous track) and >| (next track) buttons to navigate tracks.
  4. Press 1 /II for Play/Pause.
  5. INT (Intro Scan): Press INT 2 to play the first few seconds of each track.
  6. RPT (Repeat): Press 3 RPT to repeat the current track or all tracks.
  7. RDM (Random): Press 4 RDM to play tracks in random order.

Bluetooth Operation

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  2. Select Bluetooth mode on the unit using the /MODE button.
  3. On your device, search for "NQ921B" or "Nakamichi" in the Bluetooth settings and pair.
  4. Once paired, you can stream audio or make/receive calls through the unit.
  5. Use the K and >| buttons for track navigation during audio streaming.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Disc Care: Handle DVD discs by their edges. Clean discs with a soft, lint-free cloth, wiping from the center outwards.
