4. Setup
- Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the bug zapper from its packaging.
- Choose a Location: Select a suitable location for the bug zapper. For optimal performance, place it in an area where flying insects are prevalent. It is recommended to place the device approximately 3 feet off the ground.
- Power Connection: Plug the 4.92 feet long power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The blue UV light will illuminate automatically upon connection.
- Optional Hanging: Utilize the convenient hanging ring located on the top of the device to suspend it from a hook or suitable fixture, if desired.

5. Operating Instructions
- Automatic Operation: Once plugged in, the bug zapper will immediately begin to attract and eliminate insects using its UV light and electric grid.
- LED Light Function: The device includes an additional LED light at the bottom. This light can be turned on or off using the switch located on the top of the unit. 6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance. After the bug zapper is unplugged, open the bottom tray to clean up the insect debris. Use a small brush (often included) to clean up any debris stuck to the grid. The bottom tray can be rinsed with water and dried before re-installation.
- Unplug the bug zapper from the power outlet.
- Rotate to open the bottom tray.
- Clean up insect debris using the provided brush.
- Wash and dry the bottom tray thoroughly.
- Re-install the bottom tray securely.
6.2. Light Bulb Replacement

- Open the bottom tray.
- Unscrew the bottom cover with a screwdriver.
- Pull out the old bulb outwards.
- Insert a new 15-watt bulb.
- Re-install the bottom cover with a screwdriver.
- Re-install the bottom tray.
