Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the electric heating blanket from its packaging.
2. Inspect: Before first use, inspect the blanket for any signs of damage, including the fabric, control, and power cord. Do not use if damaged.
3. Connect Control: Ensure the control connector is firmly plugged into the blanket's module.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is easily accessible.

Operating Instructions

Your Sunbeam Electric Heating Blanket features a simple push-button control for ease of use.

1. Turning On: Press the power button on the control. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Adjusting Heat Settings: Press the heat setting button to cycle through the 3 available heat levels (Low, Medium, High). Select your desired warmth level.
3. Auto Shut-Off: The blanket is equipped with a 3-hour auto shut-off feature for safety and energy conservation. After approximately 3 hours of continuous use, the blanket will automatically turn off.
4. Turning Off: To manually turn off the blanket, press the power button until the indicator light extinguishes, or simply unplug the blanket from the wall outlet.

Note: It may take a few minutes for the blanket to reach your selected temperature.

Washing Instructions:

The Sunbeam Velvet Rich Soft Electric Heating Blanket is fully machine washable and dryer safe.

1. Disconnect: Always disconnect the control from the blanket and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet before washing.
2. Pre-soak (Optional): For best results, pre-soak the blanket for 15 minutes in cold water with a mild detergent.
3. Machine Wash: Wash on the gentle or delicate cycle in a washing machine with cold water (maximum 30°C / 86°F). Do not bleach.
4. Rinse: Rinse on the normal cycle.
5. Machine Dry: Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Ensure the blanket is completely dry before reconnecting the control and using. Do not iron.
6. Storage: When not in use, store the blanket loosely folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid tightly folding or creasing the heating wires.

IMPORTANT: Do not dry clean. Dry cleaning solvents may damage the insulation of the heating element.
