6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Preparing for Lamination

1. Turn on the laminator by toggling the power switch to the "ON" position. The "POWER" indicator light will illuminate (usually red).
2. Select your desired lamination mode:
   • HOT: For thermal laminating pouches. This is the default and most common mode.
   • COLD: For self-adhesive laminating pouches (not included). This mode does not use heat.
3. Wait for the "READY" indicator light to turn green (approximately 3 minutes for hot mode). This indicates the laminator has reached the optimal operating temperature.

6.2. Lamination Process

3. The laminator will automatically feed the pouch through. Do not pull or push the pouch during the process.
4. Once the pouch exits the rear of the machine, allow it to cool on a flat surface before handling.

6.3. Using the ABS Release Lever

If a laminating pouch becomes jammed or misfed during operation:

• Immediately press and hold the ABS release lever, located on the side of the laminator.
• While holding the lever, gently pull the jammed pouch out of the feed opening.
• Release the ABS lever once the pouch is removed.
• Inspect the pouch and document for damage. If reusable, re-insert carefully, ensuring it is straight.
