1.2 Charging Your Earbuds and Case
Before first use, fully charge your Dime 2 earbuds and charging case. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Connect the USB charging cable to the case and a power source. The LED indicator on the case will show charging status.
- Earbuds provide up to 3.5 hours of listening time.
- The charging case provides an additional 8.5 hours, totaling 12 hours of battery life.

1.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Select "Dime 2" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt, and the earbud LEDs will stop flashing.
1.4 Secure Fit
For optimal sound quality and comfort, choose the ear gels that best fit your ears. Gently insert the earbuds and twist them slightly to ensure a snug and secure fit.

1.5 Tile Finding Technology

2. Operating Instructions
2.1 Basic Controls
Each earbud features a multi-function button for controlling audio and calls.

- Power On/Off: Earbuds power on automatically when removed from the case and power off when returned to the case.
- Play/Pause: Press the button on either earbud once.
- Track Forward: Press the button on the RIGHT earbud twice.
- Track Back: Press the button on the LEFT earbud twice.
- Volume Up: Press the button on the RIGHT earbud once and hold.
- Volume Down: Press the button on the LEFT earbud once and hold.
- Answer/End Call: Press the button on either earbud once.
- Reject Call: Press the button on either earbud once and hold.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Press the button on either earbud three times.
2.2 Single Earbud Use
Both earbuds are equipped with a microphone, allowing you to use either the left or right earbud independently for calls or listening to audio. Simply remove one earbud from the case and leave the other in the case or powered off.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean your earbuds and charging case to maintain performance. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. For ear gels, remove them and clean with a mild soap solution, then rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
3.2 Water Resistance
The Skullcandy Dime 2 earbuds are rated IPX4 sweat and water resistant. This means they are protected against splashing water from any direction. They are not designed for submersion in water.

3.3 Battery Care
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the earbuds and case frequently. Store them in a cool, dry place when not in use.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Earbuds Not Charging
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
- Verify that the charging contacts on the earbuds and inside the case are clean and free of debris.
- Check if the charging case itself has sufficient battery charge.
4.2 Pairing Issues
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

4.5 Resetting Your Earbuds
If you experience persistent issues, a factory reset may resolve them:
- Disconnect "Dime 2" from your device's Bluetooth settings (forget device).
- Place both earbuds back into the charging case.
- Remove both earbuds. While they are attempting to pair, press and hold the button on both earbuds for 6 seconds.
- The earbuds will power off and then power back on, entering pairing mode.
- Repeat the Bluetooth pairing process (section 1.3).
