1. Introduction
Welcome to the user manual for your Minolta Pro Shot 16MP HD Digital Camera. 2. Important Safety Instructions

3. Getting Started (Setup)
3.1 Battery Installation and Charging
Insert the included Lithium-Ion Battery into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the camera. Ensure it clicks into place. Connect the camera to the AC adaptor using the USB cable to charge the battery. The charging indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours.

3.2 Memory Card Insertion
Open the memory card slot cover, usually located near the battery compartment. Insert the 16GB SD memory card with the metal contacts facing the correct direction as indicated by the diagram inside the slot. Push until it clicks into place. Close the cover securely.
3.3 Attaching the Neck Strap
Thread the neck strap through the strap eyelets on the sides of the camera. Secure the strap firmly to prevent accidental drops.
3.4 Initial Power On
Press and hold the power button (usually located on the top of the camera) until the LCD screen illuminates. The camera will perform a brief startup sequence.
4. Operating the Camera
4.1 Basic Controls Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main controls:
- Shutter Button: Located on the top, press halfway to focus, fully to capture.
- Zoom Lever: Surrounds the shutter button, controls optical and digital zoom.

4.2 Taking Photos
- Turn on the camera.

- Press the shutter button halfway down to allow the camera to focus.
- Press the shutter button fully down to capture the image.
4.3 Using the Zoom
The camera features a powerful 53x optical zoom and an additional 4x digital zoom. Use the zoom lever around the shutter button to adjust the focal length. Push the lever towards 'T' (Telephoto) to zoom in and 'W' (Wide) to zoom out. Optical zoom maintains image quality, while digital zoom digitally enlarges the image, which may result in some loss of detail.

4.4 Video Recording
To record Full HD 1080p video, switch the mode dial to the video recording setting. Press the dedicated record button (usually a red dot) to start and stop recording. The camera supports MOV video capture format.
4.5 Scene Modes and Smart Features
Your camera includes various scene modes and smart features to optimize your photos:
- Panorama: Capture wide panoramic shots by stitching multiple images.
- Face Detection: Automatically detects and focuses on faces in the frame.
- Smile Detection: Automatically captures a photo when a smile is detected.
- HDR (High Dynamic Range): Combines multiple exposures to create a single image with balanced highlights and shadows.
- 14 Scene Settings: Pre-set modes for various shooting conditions (e.g., Night Portrait, Sunset).
4.6 Image Playback and Review
Press the playback button (often indicated by a play icon) to enter playback mode. Use the directional pad to scroll through your captured photos and videos. Press the zoom lever to zoom in on photos or view multiple images at once.
4.7 Connectivity (Wi-Fi, HDMI)
