• Ensure the power source is 5V DC. Using a higher voltage power supply will damage the strip light.
• Do not connect the strip light directly to AC power.
• This product is rated IP33, meaning it is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity.
• Do not bend the strip light sharply or fold it at angles greater than 90 degrees, except at designated cutting points.
• Only cut the strip light at the marked cutting points (usually indicated by copper pads). Cutting at other positions will damage the circuit and render that section unusable.
• Ensure the installation surface is clean, dry, and smooth for proper adhesion.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not cover the strip light with materials that could trap heat, as this may cause overheating.

6. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation:

1. Prepare the Surface: Clean the desired installation surface thoroughly. Ensure it is dry, smooth, and free of dust or grease. This is crucial for the adhesive to bond effectively.

2. Measure and Cut (Optional): If you need a shorter length, measure the desired section. The strip light can be cut only at designated cutting marks, typically indicated by copper pads. Do not cut at any other position, as this will damage the circuit.

3. Attach the Strip Light: Carefully peel off the adhesive backing from the LED strip. Press the strip firmly onto the cleaned surface, ensuring good contact along its entire length.

4. Connect to Power: Plug the USB connector of the LED strip into a compatible 5V DC USB power source. This can be a USB wall adapter, a power bank, a laptop, or any other device providing 5V USB output.

7. Operation

Once connected to a 5V USB power source, the LED strip light will illuminate. To turn the light on or off, simply connect or disconnect the USB power. 8. Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the LED strip, ensure it is disconnected from the power source. Gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the strip in water.
• Inspection: Periodically check the strip for any signs of damage, such as cuts, frayed wires, or loose connections. If damage is found, discontinue use and replace the strip.
• Storage: If storing the strip, ensure it is coiled loosely and kept in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the USB connector is fully inserted into a working 5V USB port.

  • Check for any visible damage to the strip or USB cable.
• Light is dim or flickers:
  • Ensure the power source can provide sufficient current for the length of the strip. A 5-meter strip may require a power adapter with adequate amperage.
  • Check for loose connections.
• Part of the strip is not lighting up:
  • This usually indicates damage to that section of the strip, possibly from incorrect cutting or physical stress. If a section is damaged, it cannot be repaired and the strip may need to be replaced.
