5. Setup
5.1 Electrical Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure the main power supply to the circuit is turned off at the breaker. This device is designed to be installed within a standard junction box behind your existing wall switch or directly connected to your motorized curtain system.
- Identify the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your power supply.
- Connect the Live (L) wire from the power supply to the 'L' terminal on the switch.
- Connect the Neutral (N) wire from the power supply to the 'N' terminal on the switch.
- Connect the motor's 'Open' wire to the 'L1' terminal on the switch.
- Connect the motor's 'Close' wire to the 'L2' terminal on the switch.
- (Optional) If using an external manual switch, connect its output wires to the 'S1' and 'S2' terminals.
- Securely place the switch module within the junction box, ensuring no wires are pinched.

5.2 App Download and Pairing
The eMylo WiFi Smart Curtain Switch operates with the Smart Life or Tuya APP, available for both iOS and Android devices.
- Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" APP from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Register or log in to your account.
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Turn on the power to the eMylo switch. The indicator light on the switch should blink rapidly, indicating it's in pairing mode. If not, refer to the troubleshooting section for instructions on how to reset the device.
- In the APP, tap the "+" icon (usually in the top right corner) to add a device.
- Select "Curtain Switch" or "Curtain Module" from the device list.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the switch to your Wi-Fi network. This typically involves confirming the indicator light status and entering your Wi-Fi password.
- Once successfully paired, you can rename the device for easier identification.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Remote Control via APP
After successful pairing, you can control your curtains from anywhere using the Smart Life or Tuya APP.
- Open the Smart Life or Tuya APP and select your eMylo Curtain Switch from the device list.
- The app interface will display controls for opening, closing, and pausing your curtains.
- Tap "Open" to fully open the curtains, "Close" to fully close them, or "Pause" to stop them at any desired position.
- You can also adjust the curtain's opening percentage if your motor supports it and the app provides this feature.

6.2 Voice Control
The eMylo Smart Curtain Switch is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control.
- Ensure your eMylo switch is successfully paired with the Smart Life or Tuya APP.
- Open the Amazon Alexa or Google Home APP.
- Enable the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" skill/action within the voice assistant app.
- Link your Smart Life/Tuya account with your voice assistant account.
- Discover devices. Your eMylo switch should appear.
- You can now use voice commands such as:
- "Alexa, open the living room curtains."
- "Hey Google, close the bedroom blinds."
- "Alexa, stop the curtains."

6.3 Timer Schedule
Automate your curtains by setting schedules within the Smart Life or Tuya APP.
- In the Smart Life or Tuya APP, select your eMylo Curtain Switch.
- Look for the "Schedule" or "Timer" option.
- Add a new schedule.
- Set the desired time for the action (e.g., 7:00 AM).
- Choose the action (e.g., "Open" or "Close"). You may also be able to set a specific percentage.
- Select the days of the week for the schedule to repeat.
- Save the schedule. You can create multiple schedules for different times and actions.

7. Maintenance
- The eMylo Smart Curtain Switch requires minimal maintenance.
- Ensure the device remains dry and free from dust.
