Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your SweHouse Kids Tent:

  1. Step 1: Assemble the Base Frame. Connect the shortest PVC poles using the appropriate connectors to form the rectangular base of the tent.
  2. Step 2: Construct the Wall Frames. Attach vertical poles to the base frame connectors. Then, connect these vertical poles with horizontal poles to form the tent's wall structure.
  3. Step 3: Build the Roof Frame. Use the remaining poles and connectors to create the triangular roof structure. Securely attach the roof frame to the top of the wall frames.
  4. Step 4: Drape the Tent Fabric. Carefully drape the tent fabric over the assembled pole frame. Ensure the fabric is aligned correctly, with openings matching the tent's entrances. Secure the fabric to the frame using any integrated ties or fasteners.
  5. Step 5: Install Star Lights. Gently string the included star lights around the exterior or interior of the tent as desired. Ensure the battery pack is placed in an accessible and secure location, away from small children.

Operating Instructions

General Use

The SweHouse Kids Tent provides a dedicated space for children to play, read, and engage in imaginative activities. It is suitable for both indoor and covered outdoor use. Ensure the tent is placed on a flat, stable surface.

Star Lights Operation

The included star string lights are battery-operated. Locate the battery pack, insert the required batteries (not included, typically AA or AAA), and use the switch on the battery pack to turn the lights on or off.

Maintenance

Cleaning

The tent fabric is made of polyester fiber cloth and is easy to clean. For minor spills or dirt, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. For more thorough cleaning, the fabric can be hand-washed in cold water. Do not bleach. Air dry completely before storing or reassembling.

Storage

When not in use, disassemble the tent and store all components in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. This will help prolong the life of the tent fabric and poles.

Troubleshooting

  • Tent is unstable: Ensure all poles are fully inserted into their connectors. Verify that the tent fabric is evenly draped and secured, providing tension to the frame.
  • Poles bending or breaking: The PVC poles are designed for light play. Avoid excessive force or leaning on the tent structure. Ensure the tent is used on a flat surface to prevent uneven stress on the frame.
  • Star lights not working: Check if batteries are correctly inserted and fully charged. Ensure the power switch on the battery pack is in the 'ON' position.
