Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Blanket: Carefully remove the heated blanket and controllers from the packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future storage or reference.

Operating Instructions

Your Sunbeam heated blanket is designed for ease of use with its digital controller(s).

1. Turning On: Press the 'Power' button on the controller. The display will illuminate, and the blanket will begin to heat.
2. Adjusting Heat Settings: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select your desired heat level from 1 to 10. Level 1 is the lowest heat, and Level 10 is the highest.
3. Preheat Feature: For optimal warmth, you may turn on the blanket approximately 30 minutes before use to preheat your bed.
4. Auto Shut-Off: The blanket is equipped with a 10-hour auto-shutoff feature for safety and energy conservation. After 10 hours of continuous operation, the blanket will automatically turn off.
5. Dual Controls (Queen Size): For Queen size blankets, two independent controllers allow each user to set their preferred heat level for their side of the bed.
6. Turning Off: Press the 'Power' button again to turn off the blanket. Unplug the blanket from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.

Care and Maintenance

4. Storage: When not in use, store the blanket neatly folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the blanket, which could damage the internal wiring.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your heated blanket, refer to the following common solutions:

• Blanket Not Heating:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Verify that the controller cord is firmly connected to the blanket.
  • Check if the auto-shutoff feature has activated (after 10 hours). Turn the blanket off and then on again.
  • Confirm the heat setting is not on '0' or 'Off'.
• Controller Displaying an Error Code (e.g., 'F1'):
  • An error code often indicates a connection issue or an internal fault.

  • Wait for 5 minutes, then reconnect the controller to the blanket and plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

• Uneven Heating:
  • Ensure the blanket is spread flat on the bed without any folds, bunches, or objects on top that could trap heat.
  • For dual control blankets, verify both controllers are set to the desired heat level.
