Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the DVR80 using the provided USB charger cable. Connect the cable to the device's charging port and a standard USB power source. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

2. Inserting the SD Card

The DVR80 requires a Micro SD card (not included) for recording. Use only SDHC Class 10 Micro SD cards. Locate the SD card slot on the device, insert the card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting or removing the SD card.

Note: A 64GB SD card saves approximately 1200 minutes of footage and audio, while a 128GB SD card saves up to 2400 minutes.

3. Mounting the DVR80

The DVR80 comes with a universal mounting bracket and an aero seat post adapter to fit various bicycle seat post diameters.

1. Attach the universal mounting bracket to your bicycle's seat post using the strong ties provided. Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned to allow a clear view behind the bicycle.
2. If you have an aero seat post, use the specialized aero adapter in conjunction with the universal bracket for a secure fit.
3. Slide the DVR80 device onto the mounted bracket until it locks into place.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights illuminate.
• To power off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights turn off.

Recording Video

The DVR80 automatically begins recording HD 1080P video at 30-60 FPS when powered on, provided an SD card is inserted. Footage includes audio. The device records in a loop, overwriting the oldest files when the SD card is full, unless files are protected.

Tail Light Functions

The integrated 80 lumens tail light can be operated independently or in conjunction with video recording. Refer to the device's buttons for cycling through different light modes (e.g., flashing, steady). The tail light is visible from over 1 mile away.

Crash Detection Technology

The DVR80 features integrated crash detection. In the event of a sudden impact or crash, the device automatically protects the current video file, preventing it from being overwritten. This ensures critical evidence is preserved for law enforcement or insurance purposes.

Accessing and Transferring Files

To view or transfer recorded footage:

Maintenance
