1. Introduction

This user manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your SZHLUX 180W LED Grow Light. Designed for indoor plant cultivation, this full-spectrum dimmable lamp features 360 Samsung diodes, integrated timer, and temperature control to support plants through seedling, vegetative, and blooming stages. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Product Features

• High Efficiency and Low Energy Consumption: Utilizes high-yielding LED technology with 2.7 Umol/J efficiency, delivering powerful light output and uniform canopy penetration. Actual power is 180W with 360 LEDs, effective footprint is 3 x 3ft.
• Temperature Control and Timer Mode: Features an upgraded PT series with a temperature sensor, temperature, and timer buttons. Automatically sets protection temperature to 85°F. When temperature reaches 91°F, 2 light bars turn off; at 96°F, all lights turn off to protect plants from burning.
• Sunlight Full Spectrum: Provides light spectrum infinitely close to natural sunlight, with over 95% light energy absorbed by plants. Includes White (3000K, 5000K), Red (660nm), and IR (730nm) light. 5000K blue light promotes seedling growth, while 660nm red and 730nm IR light are crucial for photosynthesis, flowering, and fruiting.

4. Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the light fixture and accessories for any signs of damage.
2. Hanging the Light:
   • Attach the hanging ropes or chains to the designated hanging points on the grow light fixture.
   • Securely hang the light in your grow space (e.g., grow tent, greenhouse) using the provided carabiners or other suitable mounting hardware.
   • Adjust the hanging height according to the growth stage of your plants. Refer to the "Recommended Hanging Height" section for optimal distances.
3. Connecting Power:
   • Ensure the power switch on the light fixture is in the "OFF" position.
   • Connect the power cord to the light fixture's power input.
   • Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Dimming

To power on the light, flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The light is dimmable, allowing you to adjust the intensity as needed for different growth phases. Use the controller buttons to cycle through dimming levels or modes.

5.2 Timer and Temperature Control

The integrated controller allows for precise timing and temperature management:

• Setting the Timer: Use the timer buttons on the controller to set the desired ON and OFF times for your grow light cycle. The default auto-setting temperature is 85°F.
• Temperature Protection: The light features an automatic temperature protection system.
  • If the temperature reaches 91°F, two light bars will automatically turn off (Mode 2).
  • If the temperature reaches 96°F, all lights will turn off (Mode 3) to prevent plant damage from excessive heat.
  • The light will return to previous modes as the temperature decreases.

5.3 Full Spectrum Operation

The SZHLUX PT1800 provides a full spectrum of light essential for all plant growth stages:

• Warm White Light (3600K): Boosts plant blooms, contributing to larger and more vivid flowers.
• Blue Light (5000K): Promotes plant germination, sprouting, and strengthens stalks and roots.
• Red Light (660nm): Yields more leaves and crops, and when combined with blue light, rapidly increases the speed of plant growth.
• IR Light (710nm to 800nm): Speeds up phytochrome conversion, leading to greater yields.

• Cleaning: Ensure the light is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the fixture. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the light fixture to facilitate heat dissipation. The fanless design relies on natural convection.
• Cable Inspection: Periodically check the power cord and connections for any signs of wear, fraying, or damage. Replace immediately if any damage is found.
