Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

  • Read all instructions before using this fan.
  • This fan is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any fan is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the fan is left operating unattended.
  • Always unplug fan when not in use or when moving.
  • Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug or after the fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect fan, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the fan.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This fan has a tip-over safety switch and overheat protection. If the fan tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the fan and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the fan on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the fan for proper airflow, at least 12 inches (30 cm) from walls or furniture. Do not place it near curtains or other objects that could block the air intake or outlet.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and not overloaded.
  4. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

Operating Instructions

Functions

  • Power On/Off: Press the Power button to turn the fan on or off.
  • Mode Selection (Cooling/Heating):
    • In cooling mode, the fan offers 8 speed settings.
    • In heating mode, there are 3 heat settings (Low, Medium, High).

  • Speed Adjustment: In cooling mode, press the Speed button to cycle through 8 fan speeds. The current speed will be displayed on the LED screen.
  • Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button to activate or deactivate the 80° wide-angle oscillation feature. This distributes air more broadly across the room.

  • Timer Function: Press the Timer button to set the auto-off timer. Each press will increase the timer by 1 hour, up to a maximum of 9 hours. The set time will be shown on the LED display.
  • Sleep Mode: Activate sleep mode for quieter operation and dimmed display, ideal for nighttime use.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning will help maintain the fan's performance and extend its lifespan. Always unplug the fan before cleaning.

  • Exterior Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the fan. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
