6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MT11 Brush Extender Pro:

  • After each use, remove the brush and wipe down the extender with a damp cloth to remove any paint residue.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the polypropylene construction.
  • Store the extender in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Brush Not Holding Securely

  • Ensure the brush handle is within the specified diameter range (5/8" to 1 1/4").
  • Tighten the swivel head brush tightener knob firmly. The flexible insert should conform to the brush handle for a secure grip.

7.2 Pole Connection Feels Loose

  • Verify that the extension pole has a standard 3/4" threaded end.
  • Ensure the extender is fully screwed onto the pole.
  • If using a quick-connect pole, ensure it is properly engaged with the extender's fitting.
  • Note: Some users have reported that plastic pole threads can wear over time with frequent attachment/detachment. Ensure not to overtighten.
