Setup Guide
Initial Setup for C85845-INT Weather Station
- Power Up: Insert 3 "AAA" alkaline batteries (not included) into the main display unit. Observe the full LCD segment display for a few seconds.
- Sensor Batteries: Insert 2 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included) into the outdoor temperature sensor (TX141-Bv3). Ensure correct polarity.
- Sensor Placement: Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, to ensure accurate readings. The transmission range is up to 300 ft.
- Atomic Time Sync: The weather station will automatically attempt to synchronize with the atomic time signal. This may take several minutes or hours. Ensure the unit is placed near a window for better reception.
- Manual Settings: If atomic time does not sync, you can manually set the time, date, and other preferences using the buttons on the top of the unit (ALERTS, ALARM, TEMP, SNOOZE/BACKLIGHT, SET, +, -). Refer to the detailed manual for specific button functions.

C85845-INT Weather Station Operation
- Temperature/Humidity Display: The main screen continuously displays outdoor and indoor temperature and humidity.
- Forecast: The forecast icons update based on atmospheric pressure changes.
- Min/Max Records: Press the TEMP button to cycle through minimum and maximum temperature and humidity records.
- Alerts: Use the ALERTS button to set custom high/low temperature and humidity alerts. An audible alarm will sound when conditions exceed or fall below set thresholds.
- Backlight: Press the SNOOZE/BACKLIGHT button to adjust the display's backlight brightness.
WS-9160U-IT Digital Thermometer Operation
- Temperature/Humidity Display: The large LCD shows indoor and outdoor temperatures. Press the HUMIDITY button to toggle the display of indoor humidity.
