Setup
1. Battery Installation:
The device requires two (2) Standard C batteries (not included). To install:
- Unscrew the bottom cap of the main handle.
- Insert the C batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-).
- Screw the cap back on securely.
2. Attaching the Head:
The otoscope and ophthalmoscope heads attach to the main handle using an innovative bayonet locking system.
- Align the desired head (otoscope or ophthalmoscope) with the top of the handle.
- Gently push down and twist clockwise until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove, twist counter-clockwise and pull up.

Operating Instructions
Using the Otoscope:
The otoscope is designed for examining the ear canal and eardrum. It features 3x magnification and fiber optic illumination for clear viewing.
- Attach the otoscope head to the handle.
- Select an appropriate size reusable ear speculum and attach it to the otoscope head.
- Turn the power ring on the handle to the "ON" position to illuminate the light.
- Gently insert the speculum into the ear canal while pulling the earlobe gently backward and upward (for adults) or backward and downward (for children) to straighten the canal.
- Look through the viewing lens to observe the ear canal and eardrum.

Using the Ophthalmoscope:
The ophthalmoscope is used for examining the internal structures of the eye, as well as the nose and mouth cavity.
- Attach the ophthalmoscope head to the handle.
- Turn the power ring on the handle to the "ON" position.
- Adjust the premium lens correction knob to focus the view as needed.
- Position the ophthalmoscope approximately 6-10 inches from the patient's eye, nose, or mouth.
- Look through the viewing aperture to observe the internal structures.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
To ensure hygiene and longevity of your device:
- Wipe the exterior of the handle and heads with a soft, damp cloth.
