1. Introduction

The deleyCON mechanical timer allows for automatic ON/OFF switching of electrical devices. It features a manual adjustable dial for precise control and can be set in 15-minute intervals, providing up to 96 switching operations per day. This timer is designed for indoor use and is equipped with integrated child protection, making it ideal for controlling lights, fans, aquariums, and other household appliances.

2. Safety Instructions

Always ensure the timer is correctly plugged into a standard earthed socket (220-240V AC, 50Hz).
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 16(2)A or 3500W. Overloading can cause damage or fire.
This timer is designed for indoor use only (IP20 protection class). Do not expose it to moisture, rain, or extreme temperatures.
Do not connect multiple timers in series.
Do not disassemble or modify the timer. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
Keep out of reach of children. The integrated child protection helps prevent accidental access to live parts.
To disconnect power, always pull the plug from the wall socket.
The mechanical switching segments may produce an audible clicking sound during operation. This is normal.

24-Hour Dial: The large rotating dial with numbers 1-24 represents the hours of the day.
Switching Segments: The small black pins around the dial. Each pin represents 15 minutes. Pushing a pin outwards sets that 15-minute interval to "ON". Pushing it inwards sets it to "OFF".
Current Time Indicator: A small arrow or mark on the stationary part of the timer, indicating the current time on the dial.
Manual Override Switch: Located on the side, this switch allows you to bypass the timer function.
- "I" (ON) Position: The connected device will remain continuously ON, regardless of the timer settings.
- Clock Symbol (Timer) Position: The connected device will operate according to the programmed ON/OFF cycles.
Socket: The central outlet where you plug in the device to be controlled.
Plug: The prongs on the back of the timer for plugging into a wall socket.

4. Setup

Set Current Time:
Rotate the 24-hour dial clockwise until the current time aligns with the current time indicator arrow on the timer's body. For example, if it's 3 PM, align the '15' mark with the arrow.

Program ON/OFF Cycles:
Identify the time periods when you want the connected device to be ON. For each desired ON period, push the corresponding black segments (pins) outwards. Each segment represents 15 minutes. If you want a device to be ON for an hour (e.g., from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM), push out all four segments between '7' and '8' on the dial.
Segments that are pushed inwards will keep the device OFF during those times.
Set Manual Override Switch:
Ensure the manual override switch on the side of the timer is set to the Clock Symbol position. This activates the timer function. If set to "I", the timer will be continuously ON.
Plug In:
Plug the deleyCON mechanical timer into a wall socket. Then, plug the device you wish to control into the timer's socket.

5. Operating the Timer

Once set up, the timer will automatically switch your connected device ON and OFF according to your programmed schedule. The dial will continuously rotate clockwise, indicating the current time.

Continuous Operation: If you need the device to be continuously ON, simply slide the manual override switch to the "I" position. The timer will still rotate, but the output will remain active.
Returning to Timer Mode: To resume scheduled operation, slide the manual override switch back to the Clock Symbol position.
Adjusting Schedule: To change the ON/OFF times, simply push the desired segments inwards or outwards. No need to reset the current time unless the timer has been unplugged for an extended period.

6. Maintenance

Keep the timer clean by wiping it with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
Ensure the timer is unplugged from the wall socket before cleaning.
Store the timer in a dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Device does not turn ON/OFF at programmed times.	Manual override switch is in "I" (ON) position. Segments are not pushed out/in correctly. Current time is not set correctly.
