Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Place the evaporative cooler on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow. The easy-roll casters allow for convenient movement.

Evaporative coolers perform best in dry climates. Refer to the climate map below to understand if your region is ideal for this type of cooling.

2. Filling the Water Tank

The unit features both a removable water tank and a top-loading reservoir for easy refills.

• Removable Tank: Pull out the removable water tank from the back of the unit. Fill it with clean water up to the 'MAX' indicator. Slide the tank back into place securely.
• Top-Loading Reservoir: For quick top-offs, open the lid on top of the unit and pour water directly into the reservoir.
• Adding Ice: For enhanced cooling, you can add ice cubes or the included ice packs into the top-loading ice chamber.

3. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 120-volt electrical outlet. Ensure the cord is not pinched or placed under heavy objects.

Operating Instructions

1. Control Panel Overview

Maintenance

1. Water Tank Cleaning

• Empty the water tank regularly, especially if the unit will not be used for an extended period.
• Remove the water tank and clean it with a mild detergent and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove any residue.
• Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting it.

2. Cooling Pad Cleaning/Replacement

The unit uses three honeycomb cooling pads. Over time, mineral deposits can build up on these pads, reducing efficiency.

• Carefully remove the cooling pads from their compartments (typically located on the sides and back).
• Rinse the pads under clean running water to remove dust and mineral buildup. Do not use harsh chemicals.
• Allow the pads to dry completely before reinserting.
