3. Setup

3.3 Connecting Fluid Supply

4. Operation

4.1 Preparing Coating Material

  • Overlap each pass by approximately 50% to ensure even coverage.
  • Release the trigger at the end of each pass to avoid excessive build-up.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Binks 2100 spray gun and ensure consistent performance. Always disconnect air and fluid supplies and relieve pressure before maintenance.

5.1 Cleaning After Each Use

  1. Disconnect the fluid supply and air supply.
  2. Empty any remaining coating material from the fluid passages.
  3. Flush the gun with an appropriate cleaning solvent until it sprays clear.
  4. Remove the air cap (63PB) and fluid nozzle (63BSS). Clean them thoroughly with a brush and solvent. Do not use metal objects to clean the nozzle or air cap holes, as this can damage them.
  5. Wipe down the exterior of the gun.

Periodically, a more thorough cleaning may be required.
