2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
The EN2D30H remote control requires two (2) AAA alkaline batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Press down on the tab and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2.2 Initial Use
No programming or pairing is required. Once batteries are correctly installed, the remote control is ready for immediate use with compatible Hisense 4K UHD LED Smart TVs.
3. Operating Instructions
Point the remote control directly at your Hisense TV's infrared receiver. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

3.1 Button Functions
- Power (Red Button): Turns the TV on or off.
- Input: Cycles through available input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
- Number Pad (0-9): Directly selects channels or enters numerical data.
- MTS: Multi-channel Television Sound.
- Navigation Buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Used to navigate menus and confirm selections.
- Back (Curved Arrow): Returns to the previous screen or menu.
- Exit: Exits the current menu or application.
- Volume (+/-): Adjusts the TV's volume level.
- Mute (Speaker with X): Mutes or unmutes the TV's audio.
- Channel (CH Up/Down): Changes TV channels.
- Home (House Icon): Accesses the TV's main smart hub or home screen.
- Media Playback Controls (Rewind, Play/Pause, Stop, Fast Forward): Controls media playback.

- App Shortcut Buttons (e.g., Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Pluto TV): Provides direct access to popular streaming applications.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement
Replace batteries when the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.
4.2 Cleaning
To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, sprays, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
4.3 Storage
Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is advisable to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
5. Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Ensure the batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity.
- Replace old batteries with new AAA alkaline batteries.
- Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's IR receiver.
- Ensure you are within the effective operating range (up to 20 feet).
- Specific buttons not working:
- Clean the remote control surface, especially around the unresponsive buttons, to remove any dirt or debris.
- If only certain buttons are affected after checking batteries, the remote may require replacement.
