3. Setup Instructions

3.1. Blade Installation (Tool-Free)

  1. Ensure the jigsaw is unplugged from the power source.
  2. Locate the blade clamping lever on the front of the tool.
  3. Turn the clamping lever clockwise to open the blade clamp.
  4. Insert the T-shank saw blade fully into the blade holder, ensuring the teeth face forward.
  5. Release the clamping lever. It will automatically return to its original position, securing the blade. Gently pull on the blade to confirm it is firmly seated.

3.2. Attaching the Dust Extraction Pipe

The dust extraction pipe can be attached to the rear of the jigsaw's dust port. This allows for connection to a vacuum cleaner to minimize sawdust during operation.

3.3. Power Connection

Connect the jigsaw's power cord to a standard 230V AC electrical outlet. Ensure the power source matches the tool's voltage requirements.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Powering On/Off and Lock-On Function

  • To turn the jigsaw ON, press the On/Off trigger switch.
  • To turn the jigsaw OFF, release the On/Off trigger switch.
  • For continuous operation, press the On/Off trigger switch and then press the lock-on button located on the side of the handle. Release the trigger, and the tool will continue to run.
  • To disengage the lock-on function, press the On/Off trigger switch again.

4.2. Variable Speed Control

The jigsaw features 6 variable speed settings, allowing you to adjust the cutting speed based on the material and desired finish. The maximum speed is 3000 SPM.

  • Position 1-4: Suitable for Plastic.
  • Position 2-3: Suitable for Aluminum.
  • Position 3-4: Suitable for Stainless Steel.
  • Position 3-6: Suitable for Steel Plate.
  • Position 5-6: Suitable for Wood.

4.3. 4 Orbital Settings

The orbital action allows the blade to move in an elliptical motion, providing faster cutting, especially in softer materials. Adjust the orbital setting using the dial on the side of the tool.

  • Position 0: Straight Cut and Precise Cut (no orbital action). Ideal for fine cuts in wood, metal, and plastic.
  • Position 1: Light Orbital Cut. Suitable for general cutting in wood and softer materials.
  • Position 2: Medium Orbital Cut. For faster cutting in wood.
  • Position 3: Aggressive Orbital Cut. For very fast, rough cutting in wood.

4.4. Bevel Cutting (0° to ±45°)

The base plate can be adjusted to make bevel cuts up to 45 degrees to the left or right. Use the included Allen key to loosen the screws on the base plate, adjust to the desired angle, and then tighten the screws securely.

4.5. Dust Suction and Blowing Regulation

The jigsaw features a dust management switch to either blow dust away from the cutting line for better visibility or to enable suction for dust collection when connected to a vacuum.

  • Push Switch Backward: Activates dust suction (requires dust extraction pipe and vacuum).
  • Push Switch Forward: Activates dust blowing, clearing the cutting line.

4.6. Using the Guide Ruler

The included guide ruler can be inserted into the slots on the base plate to assist in making straight cuts and maintaining consistent cutting distances from an edge.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your jigsaw.

  • Cleaning: After each use, unplug the tool and use a dry cloth or soft brush to clean dust and debris from the ventilation openings and around the blade clamp area. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Blade Replacement: Replace dull or damaged blades promptly. Refer to Section 3.1 for blade installation instructions.
  • Cord Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord for any signs of damage, cuts, or fraying. If damaged, have it repaired by a qualified technician.
  • Storage: Store the jigsaw in a dry, secure location out of reach of children. Ensure the power cord is neatly coiled and not kinked.
