Setup Instructions

1. Connect the Display: Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the "OUTPUT" port on the VWRHar HDMI Switch. Connect the other end of this HDMI cable to an HDMI input port on your TV, monitor, or projector.
2. Connect Source Devices: Connect your HDMI source devices (e.g., PS5, Xbox, Blu-ray player, Fire Stick) to the "IN 1", "IN 2", and "IN 3" ports on the VWRHar HDMI Switch using separate HDMI cables (not included). You can use any of the input ports.
3. Power the Switch: Connect the provided USB power cable to the "DC/5V" port on the HDMI Switch. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a USB power source (e.g., a USB port on your TV, a USB wall adapter, or a power bank). The LED indicator on the switch will illuminate, indicating it is powered on.
4. Prepare Remote Control: If using the remote control, ensure the battery (CR2025, usually pre-installed) has its protective plastic tab removed.

Operating Instructions

The VWRHar HDMI Switch offers two primary methods for switching between connected HDMI sources:

Manual Switching (Button on Device)

• Locate the "Select" button on the front of the HDMI Switch unit.
• Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the input ports (IN 1, IN 2, IN 3).
• The corresponding LED indicator light (1, 2, or 3) will illuminate to show which input is currently active.

Remote Control Switching

• Point the IR remote control towards the HDMI Switch unit.
• Press the corresponding number button (1, 2, or 3) on the remote to directly select the desired HDMI input port.
• The LED indicator on the switch will confirm the selected input.

Automatic Switching

• The switch is designed to automatically detect and switch to a newly activated HDMI source. For example, if you turn on a gaming console connected to IN 2 while IN 1 is active, the switch may automatically switch to IN 2.
• If multiple devices are active, the switch will typically remain on the last manually selected or automatically detected active input. Manual or remote switching can override automatic selection.
