Inserting the Card Removal Transparent Board

The transparent board is crucial for collecting shuffled cards neatly. It needs to be inserted correctly before use.

  1. Locate the transparent card removal board.
  2. Identify the two small hooks on the shuffler's front opening.
  3. Slide the transparent board into the opening, ensuring it passes through these hooks. It can be inserted from either above or below the hooks, depending on your preference for initial card collection height.
  4. Push the board down until it rests on the bottom platform.

Shuffling Cards

Follow these steps to shuffle your cards:

  1. Ensure the transparent card removal board is correctly inserted and resting on the bottom platform.
  2. Divide your deck(s) of cards into two equal halves.
  3. Place one half of the cards into the left input tray and the other half into the right input tray. Ensure the cards are stacked neatly.
  4. Press and hold the 'PRESS DOWN TO OPERATE' button located at the front bottom of the shuffler. The internal rollers will activate, drawing cards from both sides and interweaving them into the central collection area.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Nileole Card Shuffler, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the shuffler with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace all 4 C batteries when the shuffling speed decreases or the device stops functioning. Always replace all batteries at once with new ones.
  • Card Condition: Using new or well-maintained cards can significantly improve shuffling efficiency and reduce wear on the shuffler's internal mechanisms. Worn, bent, or sticky cards may cause jams or uneven shuffling.
  • Internal Rollers: If the rollers appear to lose grip over time, a product designed to rejuvenate rubber (such as 'Rubber Renew') can be applied carefully to the rollers using a cotton swab while the device is off and batteries are removed. Allow to dry completely before re-use.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your card shuffler, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Shuffler not turning on:
    • Check if batteries are inserted correctly with the right polarity.
    • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Cards not shuffling smoothly or getting jammed:
    • Ensure cards are placed evenly in both input trays.
    • Check the condition of your playing cards; old, bent, or sticky cards can cause issues.
    • Clean the internal rollers if they appear dirty or worn (refer to Maintenance section).
    • Ensure the transparent card removal board is properly seated and not obstructing the cards.
  • Cards flipping upside down during shuffle:
    • While the shuffler aims for random distribution, occasional card flips can occur. This is generally not a functional defect.
  • Transparent card removal board not staying in place or breaking:
    • Ensure it is correctly aligned with the hooks in the shuffler's opening.
    • If the clasp or board is damaged, contact customer support for assistance.
