Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation. It is recommended to have two people for installation.

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

  • Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
  • Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, flat surface.
  • Review the parts list to ensure all items are present.

Step 2: Assemble the Fixture Frame

  1. Attach the wooden frame pieces to the metal base using the provided screws and washers. Ensure the rubber washers are placed between the metal and wood to minimize rubbing and secure the connection.
  2. Tighten all screws securely, but do not overtighten.

Step 3: Determine and Assemble Down Rod Length

  1. Select the appropriate number of 6-inch and 12-inch rods to achieve your desired hanging height (adjustable from 17.7" to 55.1").
  2. Thread the electrical wires through the selected rods.
  3. Connect the rods together by screwing them into each other.

Step 4: Mount the Canopy to the Ceiling

  1. Secure the mounting plate to your ceiling junction box using the provided hardware.
  2. Connect the fixture's ground wire to the house ground wire (usually bare copper or green).
  3. Connect the fixture's neutral wire (usually white) to the house neutral wire.
  4. Connect the fixture's hot wire (usually black) to the house hot wire.
  5. Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
  6. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate, securing it with the decorative nuts.

Step 5: Install Light Bulbs

  • Screw four E26 base bulbs (Max 60W each, not included) into the sockets.
  • Ensure bulbs are fully seated but not overtightened.

Operating Instructions

  • Once installation is complete and power is restored, operate the light fixture using your wall switch.
  • This fixture is dimmable. If you wish to use the dimming feature, ensure you use dimmable E26 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch (both sold separately).

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may damage the finish.
  • Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before handling. Replace with E26 base bulbs, not exceeding 60W.

Troubleshooting
